Shetty's Zaika

Shetty's Zaika is situated near Yashodhan Nagar, in a narrow alley and not so appealing surrounding but the food they serve is appealing to your taste buds. The small place is gaining its popularity for its varieties of Biryani and Starters they have on their menu. They mainly focus on delivery of food through Swiggy and Zomato. They have customized their menu according to their customer's taste buds. They have come up with their new innovations like Banjara Rice, Family Hungama Rice, Flavero Rice, Chicken Thread Crispy and Paneer Thread Crispy for Paneer lovers. They are well known for their Zaika special Matka Biryani and Dal Gosh.

Paneer Thread Crispy

Paneer Thread Crispy is a very famous Indo-Chinese appetizer. This dish is not only tasty but looks really interesting too. Big chunks of Paneer soaked in Hot Sauces, covered with Spring Roll sheets and deep fried. Are served with Spicy Schezwan chutney a perfect starter to start with. The fried dish is tasty and crispy on the outside, with a soft and flavorful center. Generally, I am very picky when it comes to Schezwan chutney but this chutney was win-win and there’s no turning back.

Zaika Special Chicken Matka Biryani

I recognized that many restaurants didn't cook biryani directly in Matkas. They cooked in other vessels and transferred it to the Matkas later that was a big no for. At Shetty's Zaika the whole biryani is prepared in Matka, Served in Matka and Delivered in Matka too. Rice and Chicken were cooked nicely and completely absorbed the flavor of spices and soaked the gravy nicely.

Chicken Afghani Biryani

Afghani Biryani is exclusive biryani with spices and dry fruits Incorporated together with rice, chicken, and meat. I have no words to explain the mesmerizing taste of rice. The long grain basmati rice was nicely cooked, Chicken and meat were succulent and delight to your taste buds. The gravy was so mouthwatering that you can opt for eating roti or bakhri with it.

Zaika Special Veg Matka Biryani

We assumed that the gravy for both the rice would be the same but no they both tasted different and had their own different and unique taste. The garnish itself was very tempting and eye pleasing. I am not that big fan of Veg biryani but still, this biryani made me drool.

What's so special?

The innovated dish on their menu and Starters are big Yaay!

Will I go Back?

Yes for trying out Chinese, starters and other varieties of biryani.

No, it won't cost much because the quantity of each dish would satisfy 3 4 peoples hunger easily.

Suggestions?

Order food online, you can even have food in the restaurant but they won't entertain you much as they are busy packing food for delivery.
